Yep...I'm very slack...

I have sooo much going on and have been so flat out the past month I haven't done a single post...sorry miss...you know who you are! lol We had Jasmine's dancing concert a few weeks ago and had so much to do in the lead up to that, thank goodness dancing is finished for the year! She had her end of year party yesterday and got her certificate and present, she was so proud of herself, it was gorgeous. Won't be long till it all starts again next year...

My little man had his last orientation for school during the week, it is all so final now... he has his uniform all ready to go and his booklist ordered, just has to turn up on his very first day of big school now. I'm not sure I'm ready for my baby to go to school! But he is really excited about it already which is a good thing. I am excited for him too, just a little sad that he is growing up too quickly!

Have been flat out at work, busy time of year for us...looking forward to some time off over christmas. We have our christmas party next weekend which should be a good night, and have Jason's tomorrow night too, think I am going to be hungover for the next few weeks... hehe. It is a 60's and 70's dress up tomorrow night and I still don't know what I'm going to wear, oooops...better do something about that after work today!

Speaking of work, better go and get organised or I'll be late....again....Beck I'm thinking about you hun, you know I'm only a phone call and a couple of hours away if you need anything...and Miss Sarah and S4J...can't wait to catch up in Jan...yay!!!!

November!!!

One minute it is June and then I turn around and suddenly it is November! Where on earth has the year gone?! The days just seem to roll into one and there is so much I have to do and not enough time to do any of it. Between work, kids, husband, house and all the rest of the stuff mothers have to do there is no time to breath sometimes. Work is flat out at the moment with one drama after another, I've been working longer every day just to keep on top of everything and just when I think it's settling down, something else happens!

We have so much on in the next 2 months it is ridiculous. Besides having end of year parties every weekend in December, Jasmine's dancing concert is coming up at the end of this month and she has a crazy amount of rehearsals...She has her regular dance class every thursday from 4-6pm, plus rehearsals every Sunday from 2.30-6.30pm, plus a few Tuesday arvo rehearsals, plus a photo shoot on monday at 3pm and needs to be in full hair, makeup and costume, and the full dress rehearsal at 8am the Saturday before the concert! Then Jack has his end of year concert and graduation for kinder and his school orientation in a few weeks. And they also do prep activity sessions for the next 3 Wednesdays for 1 hour each day to get them used to the classrooms etc. Which means I have to leave work for almost 2 hours by the time I add the travelling in and then I have to catch up when i get back to work! Arrrrrrrgggghhhhhh!!

I know everyone has lots going on at this time of year too, so I'm not the only one...but boy I will be glad when the next few months is over!! Something I can really look forward too though is my road trip to Trarlgon on Saturday!! Yay....look out Beck here I come! Can't wait to see this fabulous scrapper do her class so I can sit and drool at her amazing work...hehe

Better go get ready for work and get these kids organised....till next time....

Riding along on my push bike...

A few of the girls from work and I decided we would ride our bikes to work on Friday...work is 10 km away so I was slightly hesitant being the unfit person that I am! But I said I'd do it and kept to my word....and actually enjoyed it...surprised myself I must say! It is flat most of the way, so is a pretty easy ride...but still, 10km there and 10km back sounded like an awful long way!

We all live within about 5km of each other, so Jen and I started and picked up the others along the way. We left home at 7.45am and managed to arrive at work (sweaty and with very sore rear ends!) by 8.30am. It was an absolutley beautiful morning, perfect in fact, which made it so enjoyable, and we were all high on endorphins by the time we got changed and started work! I was not looking particularly forward to the ride home, mainly because my butt was screaming from the ride into work (I'd forgotten how hard bike seats can be!!). But it turned out to be ok, we rode home at a leisurely pace and boy did I feel good last night...albeit a little sore and sorry!

We enjoyed it so much we have decided to make it a regular thing, probably just once a month, as it is hard for me with the kids cause I have to drop them at school and pick them up. And it has definatley motivated me to exercise more often, I'd forgotten how good you feel after a good workout! My health kick probably won't last long, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!!

Hello World!!

Finally I have got my act together and I am going to actually use this blog! (Thanks to Miss Sarah for the motivation ;)

Not sure how long I will keep it up...but I'll give it a go! Just a little spot for family and friends to keep up with the happenings of the Bayliss clan.

I'm very new to this blogging business, so bear with me while I feel my way around and try to figure it out!
